Coming to God is the single most important part of prayer.
As prayer connects us to our Father in heaven, it also connects us with our church family on earth.
The Crossroads Prayer Ministry originates from our congregation and ministries, and our prayer in turn connects with and serves the Crossroads community. From uplifting our fellows to equipping them to see the power in prayer, we meet each day intending to be a source of encouragement and blessing to both Crossroads Church and the greater body of Christ.
There are several ways to be a part of the Prayer Ministry, either as part of a prayer group or on your own time. We have two prayer meetings each week, one held in-person and one held remotely.

"What if I don't know how to pray?"
When you think about it, prayer can seem a bit intimidating. After all, coming before the architect of all creation is no small thing!
Prayer can seem daunting, but that idea couldn't be further from the truth. All that's required for prayer is a willingness to be open with God. It doesn't matter whether you come to God with a heart full of troubles or a praise on your lips, because coming to God is the single most important part of prayer.
Three Simple Steps to Prayer
Keeping It Simple
Matthew 6: 10, 18
The world is full of so-called "prayer warriors" peddling techniques for getting what you want from God. Don't fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing with, and He knows better than you what you need. With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply.
Keeping It Real
Matthew 6:7, 8
When you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
Keeping It Up
Luke 18:1
Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
No matter how simply and honestly we pray, it's easy to lose heart and tempting to give up when our prayers don't seem to be working. That's why it's not enough just to keep it simple and keep it real. Jesus also says that we must "always pray and not give up."
